Today we went to Duemmer See in Niedersachsen, near Osnabrueck to watch birds, as part of the shore is a nature reserve. Apparently, a lake resort here means camping places all around the water, cafes, beach seats and surfing clubs. Ah, poor birds must have gone all shy in the woods...
Ah, I'm just trying to be sarcastic. We heard a lot of things but, to my shame, I can barely recognize any species by song. It was a fun trip, though. The weather in the area we visited was foggy, although the sun was pouring over our heads both in Bremen and Osnabrueck (respectively, north and south of Duemmer See). We actually saw a couple of Greylag Geese in the air. My friend was teaching me rude songs in her language, which I'll write down soon and spread the word about them.
My blood pressure has been somewhat low lately, which makes me feel generally sleepy and unwilling to do anything (and that is.. just bad). I'll try to see whether a bit more sleep than I get nowadays can do something about it. Or.. is this how my chocolate and caffeine abstinence symptoms are presenting themselves?
Anyway, enough rambling for now, tell me how you're doing.
